It's been a terrific day for Bitcoin and Litecoin with both reaching new February highs despite 'failure' remarks by the Bank of England governor but for Ethereum it's been a day of woe for investors. 'Crypto All Stars', an Ethereum game launched earlier in the month was shut down by crypto vigilantes who called it a 'ponzi scheme'. Furthermore, Vitalik Buterin, an early pioneer and co-founder of Ethereum, warned that cryptocurrencies could fall in value at any time. This seems to have rocked investor confidence and stalled Ethereum's price whilst its peers have rallied throughout the day.
At the time of writing Ethereum is down by just over 2%. So is now a good time to buy Ethereum. I'd say so. Ethereum is obviously an established player in this space, second only to Bitcoin and is likely to make steady gains over the coming months. Today's bad news will soon be old news so I'd say wait this out for a couple of days as the sell off continues then buy.
